How does the Hive prepare for district benchmarks? Well...we've been doing that since day 1, but we also like to review a couple of days before big tests. Some people do this: ....but in the Hive we do this: (eat goldfish, discuss literature, take dance breaks, analyze questions, take breaks again with YouTube videos, play jeopardy, visit the library, and celebrate our amazing brains. Duh) Get ready for Part I and II of
"Crunch-Time-Cramming-Session"® This past Sunday, 4 scholars had the opportunity to attend the Empty Bowl Project Event. Ms. Caughey and Ms. Smith are so proud of all the artists who participated in this charitable Austin event. Many of our bowls had already been taken because they were so beautiful and unique...we even saw one person eating soup out of a Cunningham artist's bowl! What an awesome day!
We had an amazing celebration at Cunningham for Veterans near and far! When Ms. Smith said we would have a special guest speaker, we had no idea it would mean her grandfather. What a treat for everyone! We especially loved honoring our resident Veteran--Mr. Griffin. What an honor to have such an amazing role model right down the hall. Thank you to all of our veterans!
