'A Real Boy' Poem
Last week, after reading and analyzing Oliver Button is a Sissy and an article about the lack of adventurous female Lego figurines, Hive scholars held a 3-part forum on gender stereotyping. The forums led to eye-opening conversations in which scholars discussed personal, social, and literary connections. Our quest to understand gender stereotyping didn't stop there...on Monday we had two special guests come and share their research on athlete stereotyping in the media. It was truly eye-opening! Today, scholars will continue the conversation as they interact with 4 different stations:
